Factor_Genie promptly lists all the prime factors of any positive whole number (up to 4,294,967,295) that you enter from the keyboard. Factor_Genie is shareware compatable for use on any Mac (It's a 680x0 application, written in C for high-speed performance.) The factorization of your typed entry is presented very quickly after the Genie's "Factor" button (or the Return or Enter key) is pressed.
The Genie lists the factors, each with its number of occurrences. The following factor list for the number 519168 is an example:
2, 10 occurrence(s);
3, 1 occurrence(s);
13, 2 occurrence(s).
That is, using the conventional ^ for exponentiation and * for multiplication, 519168 = 2^10 * 3^1 * 13^2. The Genie's listing is more compact and more easily read than the more customary equivalent 1-dimensional listing,

in which the user must count the recurrences of each factor. Factor_Genie's lists are presented in a standard TextEdit field, where the user can copy, cut, paste and type text. Thus, the Genie's lists are easily managed for designing text and saving it in the clipboard for easy transfer into other text applications.
The Genie's 4.3- billion upper limit is twice the range bounding most factoring programs, the Genie needs only about 17K of disk space, and you will find that the Genie's speed and versatility are unsurpassed. Therefore, I am betting you find Factor_Genie is well worth the $5 registration fee that I am asking for it.
